Alauddin Ahmed Chowdhury Nasim, candidate of the boat symbol nominated by Awami League for Feni-1 constituency, has been given a show cause notice (show cause notice) for violating the code of conduct in the 12th National Assembly elections.

On Tuesday (December 5) afternoon, the senior assistant judge of Feni and the chairman of the election investigation committee of that constituency said. Nizam Uddin issued a condolence notice.

It is mentioned in the notice that Alauddin Ahmed Chowdhury Nasim participated in the procession and discussion in his constituency Shubopur of Chagalnaya as a candidate for the election. Which includes violation of code of conduct in elections. In this situation, it has been ordered to appear in person and give an explanation to the inquiry committee on Thursday (December 7) by 12 noon.

A source in the search committee's office confirmed the summons and said, after the letter of summons was signed by the chairman of the committee, it was sent to the returning officer and the candidate in the official process.

Feni District Commissioner and District Returning Officer Muchammat Shahina Akhtar said that an election investigation committee headed by a judge has been formed in each constituency to settle pre-election irregularities in the three parliamentary constituencies of the district. They are looking after code of conduct violations. Awami League candidate of Feni-1 Constituency nominated boat symbol Alauddin Ahmed Chowdhury Nasim has been asked by many media persons to know about the shock. But the copy has not reached me till now.

It should be noted that according to Section 12 of the Rules of Conduct of Political Parties and Candidates in National Parliament Elections 2008, no political party or party nominee or independent candidate or any other person on their behalf can start any type of election campaign three weeks before the scheduled date of polling. Apart from this, section 6 (c) states that if any political party or party nominee or individual candidate wants to hold a meeting or on their behalf, permission should be taken at least 24 hours in advance.
