The Election Commission (EC) has given instructions to transfer the Officers in Charge (OC) who have served in a police station for more than six months. The EC has given such instructions ahead of the National Assembly elections.

On Thursday (November 30), EC Deputy Secretary Md. Mizanur Rahman.

According to the EC, the Election Commission has decided to transfer the Officers-in-Charge (OC) of all the police stations in order to conduct the upcoming National Assembly elections smoothly. For this purpose, in the first stage, the transfer proposal of the police station officers who have completed more than six months of service at their current workplace to other districts/elsewhere is required to be sent to the Election Commission by December 5. In this situation it is humbly requested to take necessary action as per the said decision.
