Bangladesh's popular opener Tamim Iqbal has been out of action for quite some time now. Although he was supposed to play in the ODI World Cup, he was not included in the team at the last minute. Since then he has been in discussion. Tamim is not in the squad for the ongoing Test series against New Zealand at home. But this time he will be seen during the match.

Bangladesh and New Zealand will meet in the second and final Test match of the series on Wednesday (December 5) at 9:30 am. Opener Tamim Iqbal will not be seen with the bat in the match but will be seen with the microphone. He said this on his official page on social media Facebook

Tamim wrote on Facebook, 'Tomorrow I will participate briefly in the commentary panel on the first day of the second Test between Bangladesh and New Zealand. This is my first international match! I am available from 12:40 PM to 1:10 PM and 1:40 PM to 2:10 PM. Looking forward to experience the commentary box again

Earlier, Tamim expressed interest in his commentary. Expressed his interest in being a regular commentator in the 2024 T20 World Cup. He has retired from the short format of cricket. As a result, it is not impossible to see this popular opener in the commentary box. On this side, Tamim's return to the field is still unclear.
