This information was given in the notification sent on Friday from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health.

According to the notification, 3 thousand 358 dengue patients are currently under treatment in various public and private hospitals of the country including Dhaka.

It is also said that 3 lakh 12 thousand 359 people have been admitted to hospital due to dengue this year. Among them 1 lakh 7 thousand 974 people in Dhaka and 2 lakh 4 thousand 385 people outside Dhaka.

281 people died of dengue in 2022. In December, the last month of that year, 27 people died. At the same time, 62 thousand 382 people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue in the year under discussion.
